Posted by Peter in : A Day in the Life , add a commentWe are doing well. There was a bit of a rough spot (actually, it seemed like an eternity), but I think we’re getting it down now. We are both exhausted but happy.
Perhaps the most common thing we heard from everyone was, “Get some sleep while you can!” Although I know it is well-intentioned, this always sounded a little silly to me, considering the fact that you can’t “save up” your sleep to use later when the baby comes, like money in a bank. But I understand the sentiment: Get rested and ready, savor it. Now I’m a true believer…
